inspired by wangs greatness i asked a local boys and girls club if we could put on an hr demonstration in their gym for whomever would like to watch....no problemo...

i picked him up at the worlds famous bridgeport sports club after his group session..and barrelled over for the demo...

it was great to finally have that much space to practice our smash to lob drill...a lot of my lobs fell too short on the table..as i was hitting a bit soft...not use to *that* far back..wang would force me wide after 3-5 rafter shots..too...not use to *that* action

the plan was to hook some of the kids and turn them on to pong...

i introduced him to everyone as "the north american champ"... and myself..as the "north american chump..with the punk bee-yo attitude"...and let them do the math....i made a few of them bow to the master and had them go fetch us cookies..

dont forget the milk..

the rats got schooled and that was that...

planting seeds baby...thats all we really did..

on the ride home i asked him what were some of the big names he beat...or almost beat...he told me that in super league in 02..he was up 2-1 againt ma but went on to lose 3-2 and he was down 0-2 to hao and came back to tie it up... but went on to lose 3-2..."thats amazing" i said...."nah..only amazing if you win..if you lose..means nothing" he remarked..

still...not bad..
