The p_layer_ reaction to the new doubles rotation that was used here is not positive. Bruce Liu points out that the right-handed p_layer_ serving from the left court is hardpressed to vacate space for his right-handed partner to play anything but backhand against the service return. He feels this is a deep disadvantage. Other p_layer_s described the ystem as hard to remember, anti-intutive and confusing. Those are remarks similar to one written on my 8th grade report card, so a bit of nostalgia for me.
