Hexapong 8 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Hello
My name is Guy Allen and I am the inventor of Hexapong. Many of you serious p_layer_s that have attended the 2007 U.S. Table Tennis Open and the 2007 U.S. Table Tennis Nationals know of Hexapong because you would have walked right by.

Let me start off by saying I respect the time and effort that you have put into becoming the skilled p_layer_s that you are and that I understand that when you pay money to participate in events that is a driving force to stay focused.

My question to you as individuals is what is needed to get you to have a little fun after you have been eliminated from the event?
Are the majority of you p_layer_s that serious that you have forgotten how to play just for fun. I invite you to take a look at the Hexapong videos I have posted on YouTube.

You may be surprised to see that is could be just a little challenging too.

In closing let me add that the only thing that the GAME of Hexapong has in common to the SPORT of Table Tennis is the paddles and ball.

Hello all

I will be traveling to Houston mid to late June of this year with my table. I'm currently contacting various clubs in route to and in Houston. If you are a member of a table tennis club that I might be allowed to attend contact me so that we may exchange info.

Greetings All
Just a few lines to let others know about the clubs I visited in Texas.
My 1st stop was at the Austin Table Tennis Club where I meet John Muhich. This club located on the second floor of the building housed 9 or 10 (I did not count) tables with one having a robot until the number of p_layer_s deemed its removal. They had a small break area with tables were p_layer_s could sit while waiting. John informed us that the club was in the process of raising funds to relocate to a different facility. If your go to Austin and want to play look up the Austin Table Tennis Club.

In Houston there are a few clubs to choose from and since I was limited on time the Houston Table Tennis Association is where I stopped. There I meet Gabe Cserei, this club also housed 9 or 10 tables. Because their space is long and narrow the waiting area is not very large but there is a place to sit while you wait to get on a table. This was the first time I’ve played against a lefty on my table, then later another lefty joined in. It was quite a learning curve for me playing against two lefties at the same time.

The last stop was in Fort Worth, Texas, where I meet Keith Evans one of the coaches for Texas Wesleyan University the number one National Intercollegiate Champions for Table Tennis 7 years running. With Keith taking posession of the Hexapong table mentioned that with the lines and areas on the table it could be good for p_layer_s to learn ball control. I’m hoping that they will make use of it in their next tournament come September. Until then the p_layer_s will be able to enjoy testing their skills against each other.
