ABOUT THE EASTERN OPEN
The Eastern Open is back as a North American Tour stop. The competition returns to the Werblin Center at Rutgers University in Piscataway, New Jersey this year and is expected to showcase the highest level of US competitive table tennis.
Within easy driving distance of the New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. metropolitan areas, the Eastern Open attracts players from all over the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern regions and often hosts national and international elite players. Exciting matches are a sure thing as many long-standing rivalries will undoubtedly be renewed!
ABOUT THE VENUE
The Werblin Center at Rutgers University is a family-friendly site with well-lit parking in a secure and patrolled campus. Inside the playing hall, there will be 25 to 30 professional competition tables set up in an area that is equivalent to three full-sized basketball courts and can easily accommodate 200 players. The hardwood floors and high ceiling also provide for excellent playing conditions!
ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
Come spend a weekend competing and watching high level table tennis during this four-star event! Players and spectators, beginners and pros – all are welcome! The first round of events will begin at 9 am on Saturday and go on through late Sunday afternoon.

Ratings from the March/April issue of the USATT Magazine will be used for qualifications. Seedings based on most current ratings.
Players may not enter two events with identical start times. Events can be cancelled or combined at the discretion of the tournament committee. Events with insufficient entries may be cancelled and refunds issued. No prizes will be awarded for splits, dumps, default losses or no-shows. Play will be conducted under ITTF rules and NATT policies. USATT dress code will be enforced. All decisions of the referee are final. All U.S. prize money winners are required to provide Social Security numbers. All International prize money winners are required to provide Passport/ VISA. We are required by U.S. Department of Treasury to withhold 30% tax on all prize money recipients from countries that do not have a treaty with the U.S.
